2014 Elected Chair of Thames Path National Trail Partnership Board (funded by DEFRA and Natural England). The last six years has seen Steve Good successfully lead a large team of employees and volunteers from an H.Q. at Oxfordshire County Hall (Sponsors), to maintain and enhance the Thames Path National Trail from Source to Sea. A total distance of 200+ kilometres encompassing 22 Local Authorities and other bodies such as Transport for London, Sustrans, who make up the Board which he Chairs.
2020 honoured with the Queens Award for Volunteering - The volunteers equivalent of an M.B.E.
Appointed to the Board of Cotswold Conservation Area formerly the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
